About us
We are Adela and Dorin Crișan. We have been married since 1996 and have three children, two of whom are adults. Our oldest son is married. Since we started our family life, we have been passionate about couple relationships. We have always been excited to learn new things that would enrich our relationship, provide us with the necessary knowledge to successfully overcome life's challenges together, and help us have a strong, fulfilling, and long-lasting couple relationship. Over the years, navigating various challenges and situations, we have experienced both the joy and rewarding emotional connection, as well as the pain of disconnection. Our desire to have a strong marriage that would bring us fulfilment, security, and stability has driven us to seek out resources, information, and ways to learn and grow both personally and relationally. This eventually led us to pursue the profession of psychologists and work with families.
We are licensed in Psychology, with Professional Training in Systemic Family and Couple Psychotherapy, as well as Professional Training in Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT). We are certified as Facilitators of the "Building a Lasting Connection - BLC" program, psychoeducational workshop. Due to our passion for family and people in general, and our beliefs in Christian values, we worked as a volunteer pastor for 10 years in two churches in Romania. We currently live in the UK, where we moved in 2015. The "Building a Lasting Connection" workshop came as a response to our search to get involved with something practical and helpful in the lives of families who want to develop and improve their relationship. The need for education in the field of the couple relationship is more and more acute, and research has revealed that marital education is closely related to the degree of satisfaction in the couple, reduced conflict levels, and lower divorce rates.
Education means prevention!
